Security That Keeps Up With the Jobsite
Construction sites change constantly. Crews rotate, subcontractors come and go, deliveries arrive throughout the day, and valuable tools and materials may remain on the property after work stops. As the structure takes shape, new doors, rooms and secured areas create additional access points that need to be managed.
Goldy Locks helps Chicagoland contractors, developers and property teams address those changing needs with security cameras, intrusion detection, access control, locks, commercial doors and door hardware. The right combination depends on the stage of construction, the openings already in place and the areas that need protection.
A coordinated approach gives project teams better control over secured entrances and greater visibility into activity around important areas of the site. Security can then evolve along with the project instead of remaining static while the property changes.
Construction Site Security Services
Security solutions designed around changing access points, assets and project stages.

Jobsite Access Control
Manage access to secured doors without depending solely on traditional keys. Credentials can be added or removed as staffing changes, helping control entry for employees, subcontractors and any other authorized users.

Intrusion Detection
Help identify unauthorized entry into enclosed buildings, trailers or other protected spaces after work hours. Professionally installed alarm systems add an active layer of protection when crews are no longer on site.

Construction Site Cameras
Monitor entrances, storage areas and other important locations where visibility matters. Security cameras can provide live viewing and recorded footage to help project teams review activity when questions or incidents arise.

Intercom & Entry Systems
Verify visitors or communicate at controlled entrances before providing access. Intercom systems can support more deliberate entry management at offices, completed buildings and other locations where visitor access needs to be controlled.

Commercial Doors & Hardware
Secure permanent building openings as construction moves toward completion. Goldy Locks installs commercial doors, frames, locks, closers, exit devices and related hardware designed for dependable operation at finished entry points.

High-Security Locks
Strengthen lock security for doors and other appropriate secured openings. High-security locking options can help property teams maintain tighter key control and establish dependable protection for areas requiring restricted access..
SECURITY BUILT AROUND THE SITE
Different Parts of a Construction Site Need Different Protection
A construction project does not have one fixed security environment. The site may begin with temporary offices and storage areas, then gradually add exterior doors, interior rooms and permanent building systems. Access also changes as trades complete their work and new crews arrive. Planning security around those stages helps contractors avoid treating every opening, user and asset the same way.

PROJECT SPOTLIGHT
Waner Enterprises Commercial Door & Frame Upgrade
Waner Enterprises in Chicago Ridge needed to address a worn door and frame at one of its primary entry points. The existing opening was showing its age and no longer provided the appearance or dependable operation the business wanted from a regularly used entrance.
Goldy Locks replaced the worn door and frame and installed upgraded hardware as part of the project. The new opening included an Arrow entry freewheeling lever selected for smooth operation and durability under regular use. The work also provided a clean new frame and finish, replacing components that had become worn over time.
The completed project gave Waner Enterprises a solid, dependable entrance with updated door hardware and a cleaner professional appearance. Rather than treating the lock, hardware and door as separate issues, the project addressed the complete opening so the components could work together properly.
