Hospital Security Systems
& Solutions
Control access, protect critical areas, and keep hospital operations moving.

Controlled Access
Keep restricted areas limited to authorized staff.

Clearer Visibility
Monitor entrances and high-traffic areas.

Reliable Openings
Keep busy doors operating as intended.

Staff Alerting
Signal for help when needed.
Hospital Security Built Around Daily Care
A hospital has to stay accessible while still limiting who can enter clinical, staff-only, administrative, and other restricted spaces. Patients, visitors, employees, vendors, and emergency personnel may all use the same building, but they do not need the same access. High-traffic doors also have to perform reliably through constant daily use.
Goldy Locks helps Chicagoland medical facilities connect the physical opening with the systems that manage it. Access control, commercial doors and hardware, cameras, alarms, panic buttons, and intercoms can be planned around how people actually move through the property instead of treating every entrance the same.
That approach gives facility and security teams better control over restricted areas, clearer visibility at key access points, and dependable door operation where interruptions can create immediate problems for staff and visitors.
Hospital Security Services
Coordinate doors and security systems around the way your hospital operates.

Healthcare Access Control
Manage who can enter staff-only and restricted areas using credentials and defined permissions. Access control helps hospitals adjust authorization as roles change while creating a clearer record of door activity.

Commercial Alarm Systems
Monitor selected doors and protected areas for unauthorized entry or other defined events. Commercial alarms can provide timely alerts and help staff respond to security issues without relying on manual observation alone.

Hospital Video Surveillance
Improve visibility at entrances, corridors, parking areas, loading zones, and other shared spaces. Recorded video helps security teams review incidents and better understand activity around monitored areas.

Intercom & Entry Communication
Verify and communicate with visitors at controlled entry points before granting access. Intercom systems can support reception areas, after-hours entrances, service doors, and other locations where staff need better entry communication.

Commercial Doors & Hardware
Hospital doors see constant traffic. Goldy Locks installs and services doors, frames, closers, locks, panic hardware, electric strikes, and related components so openings continue to support secure, dependable access.

Hospital Panic Buttons
Give staff a discreet way to signal for help during an emergency. Wireless panic buttons can be placed in appropriate work areas where quick notification is important and immediate access to a phone may not be practical.

PROJECT SPOTLIGHT
Oak Crest Medical Center Main Entrance Door Repair
At Oak Crest Medical Center in Oak Lawn, the main entrance serves patients, staff, visitors, and emergency personnel, making reliable door operation especially important. Goldy Locks was brought in to repair and update this critical opening.
The work addressed several components that affect how the entrance opens, closes, seals, and controls entry. Technicians installed a new aluminum door closer, a Pemko brush door sweep, an LSDA push paddle, and a Multifunction 6 Series electric strike. Each component served a different function at the same opening, including controlled door movement, improved sealing, easier operation, and electronically controlled entry.
This project shows why hospital door service often requires looking beyond a single lock or piece of hardware. By addressing the complete opening, Goldy Locks restored multiple functions at one of the medical center’s most frequently used access points.
