Hotel Security Designed Around Daily Operations
Hotels rarely have a simple divide between public and private space. Guests move through entrances, lobbies, corridors, meeting areas, and amenities while employees, vendors, contractors, and deliveries require access to completely different parts of the property. Those overlapping traffic patterns make control at the right doors especially important.
Goldy Locks helps hotels coordinate physical and electronic security around the way the property operates. Commercial doors and hardware provide the foundation, while access control, video surveillance, alarms, locks, and other systems help manage entry and give staff greater visibility into activity around the building.
The result is a property where security supports operations instead of getting in the way. Staff can manage access more effectively, investigate activity when needed, and address worn or unreliable openings before they become bigger problems.
Hotel Security Services
Security solutions designed around guest areas, staff access, and hotel operations.

Hotel Access Control
Control employee access to back-of-house doors and restricted areas. Permissions can be managed as staffing needs change, helping hotels reduce dependence on shared keys while maintaining better control over who can enter specific spaces.

Commercial Alarm Systems
Protect selected areas against unauthorized entry with commercial alarm and intrusion detection systems. Monitoring and alerts give hotel teams another way to identify activity when restricted areas or protected openings are accessed unexpectedly.

Hotel Video Surveillance
Improve visibility around entrances, common areas, parking, service points, and other important locations. Video provides hotel teams with recorded information they can review when investigating activity or evaluating what occurred at a specific time.

Hotel Intercom Systems
Verify and communicate with visitors at controlled entrances before providing access. Intercom systems can be useful at service entries, offices, delivery areas, parking access points, and other locations where unrestricted entry is not appropriate.

Commercial Doors & Hardware
Hotel doors handle constant traffic from guests, employees, carts, deliveries, and vendors. Properly selected doors, frames, closers, locks, exit devices, and hardware help openings close, latch, secure, and operate reliably throughout the day.

Fire Alarm Systems
Goldy Locks provides commercial fire alarm installation and related services for Chicagoland properties. Systems can include detection, notification, monitoring, testing, maintenance, and other components based on the requirements of the individual property.

PROJECT SPOTLIGHT
Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Door Upgrade
A hotel receiving entrance works differently than a guest-facing door. Deliveries, employees, carts, and repeated daily use put additional wear on the opening, while the location still needs to remain controlled from the exterior. Hardware that no longer operates correctly can become both an operational problem and a security concern.
At Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Resort, Goldy Locks addressed the receiving door with a commercial hardware upgrade designed for the demands of that opening.
Our team installed a Von Duprin rim exit device and dummy trim. The new hardware provides employees with smooth exit operation while creating stronger resistance to forced entry from the exterior. The installation also works with the existing industrial-style opening rather than requiring an unnecessary redesign of the door.
For a busy back-of-house entrance, dependable hardware helps the door do its job consistently through regular hotel operations.
