Manufacturing Security Systems

Controlled Movement
Manage access across working areas.

Dock Visibility
Keep watch over shipping activity.

Reliable Openings
Maintain doors built for daily use.

After-Hours Protection
Detect unauthorized activity after shifts end.
Security Designed Around Manufacturing Operations
Manufacturing facilities have different types of traffic moving through the same property. Employees arrive by shift, vendors and contractors may need temporary access, deliveries move through loading areas, and production or maintenance spaces may need to remain restricted.
Security works better when those differences are planned into the building. Access control can manage who enters specific areas, cameras provide visibility around important activity, and alarms help protect the facility after hours. Commercial doors, locks and hardware provide the physical foundation those systems depend on.
Goldy Locks helps Chicagoland manufacturers look at those pieces together. That makes it easier to control access without creating unnecessary obstacles for employees, maintain dependable entry points and adapt security as staffing, facility use or operating needs change.
Manufacturing Security Services
Physical and electronic security designed around active plant operations.

Manufacturing Access Control
Assign access based on employee roles, schedules or work areas. Credentials can be changed without rekeying every affected door, making it easier to manage staffing changes and restricted spaces.

Intrusion Detection
Protect exterior doors and other vulnerable openings during closed or lightly staffed hours. Commercial alarm systems help detect unauthorized entry and provide alerts when protected areas are breached.

Video Surveillance
Monitor entrances, loading areas, exterior activity and other important locations. Recorded footage gives facility teams a practical way to review events and maintain better visibility across a large property.

Intercom Systems
Verify visitors, vendors or delivery personnel before allowing access through controlled entrances. Intercom systems add communication at entry points where unrestricted access would create unnecessary movement through the facility.

Commercial Doors & Hardware
High-use plant openings depend on doors, locks, closers, hinges and hardware working correctly together. Goldy Locks installs and services commercial openings to support reliable access through demanding daily use.

Fire Alarm Systems
Fire alarm systems provide detection and notification throughout commercial properties. Goldy Locks installs and services fire alarm solutions that can be planned around the size, layout and operating needs of the facility..

PROJECT SPOTLIGHT
WestRock Maintenance Door Hardware Repair
A heavily used maintenance door has to perform reliably throughout the workday. At WestRock in Chicago, a worn lever had become unreliable, creating a problem at an entry point employees depended on for regular access.
Goldy Locks evaluated the door hardware and replaced the worn component with an Arrow Grade 2 MLX entry freewheeling lever. The repair addressed the problem without requiring unnecessary replacement of the entire opening.
For manufacturing facilities, this type of repair matters because repeated use can expose hardware problems quickly. A loose, worn or failing lever can make a door harder to operate and affect how securely it closes and locks.
The completed repair restored smooth operation and dependable access at the WestRock maintenance door while putting hardware designed for demanding use back into service. It is a good example of why maintaining the physical opening remains an important part of a larger manufacturing security plan.
